Aubrey Pittman- President
Hi all! My name is Aubrey Pittman and I am the current President of BOSS Dance Company for the 2023-2024 season! For the past three years I have also served as Vice President and Social Media Manager. I am from Lexington, KY and a rising senior here on Rocky Top and have loved my experience so far at the University of Tennessee. I am studying Business Management and Entrepreneurship with the hopes of traveling the world and being a Founder/CEO. As President of this amazing company, I oversee everything that goes on the day-to-day life and guide the rest of the executive team to make this the best year yet. I am looking forward to this year with gratitude and sad to say I am finishing out my time in BOSS! Stay BOSSy!
Sydney Hawkins- Vice President
My name is Sydney Hawkins and I am the current Vice President of BOSS Dance Company for the 2023-2024 season. This will be my third year on BOSS, and I previously served as last year’s Social Media Manager. I am a Junior at the University of Tennessee earning a major in Political Science with a double minor in History and Secondary Education. Throughout the school year I am a dance instructor at Angela Floyd School for Dance, and I spend my summers as an instructor for the Universal Dance Association. As the Vice President of this company, it is my job to ensure that all of our pieces have a space to rehearse each week! I am very thankful that BOSS has given me a space to continue my passion for dance in college along with a leadership role to fulfill. I can’t wait to see how this company continues to grow this year. GO BOSS GO!!
Robin Schlimm- Secretary
I am the BOSS secretary meaning I am responsible for Creating and distributing monthly newsletter along with managing and responding to important emails! This is my third year dancing for BOSS and last year I was also a student choreographer. I am a mechanical engineering student here at UTK and some other organizations I am involved with are the society of women in engineering and Alpha Chi Omega.
Natalie Adkins- Treasurer
Hi friends! I’m nat and I’m the newest treasurer of BOSS dance company. I’m a junior at the University of Tennessee studying Marketing! I’m originally from Knoxville, TN and absolutely love living on Rocky Top. I have danced since I was two years old but found my true passion for the sport through dance team. I was a part of West Valley Dance Team and Bearden Dance Team where we grew together and accomplished big things. I have absolutely found that in BOSS. It has the family bond just like dance team but allows me to be a college student and balance other things on my plate. In my other time I help coach West Valley Middle School’s Dance Team and Bearden High School’s Dance Team while also working for the Universal Dance Association as a dance instructor. Basically my life is all dance and I wouldn’t have it any other way! BOSS allows me to continue this passion for dance, be involved with my university, and make the most out of my college experience with new best friends that share a similar passion. I absolutely LOVE boss and cannot wait to handle all the financials!!!!
Meghan Gadsden- Social Media Manager
Hi everyone! I’m Meghan Gadsden and am very excited to serve as this year’s social media manager! I am a rising junior studying public relations with a minor in business administration and I’m originally from Charlotte, NC. outside of boss, I serve as a undergraduate representative for student government Committees, I’m the founder of a nonprofit organization, along with a number of other extracurricular activities. I really value striving for personal and professional growth while building meaningful relationships with others.as social media manager, I am responsible for creating and distributing content for all social media outlets under the company name, program development for our spring show, and more. I am so thankful for this opportunity and am looking forward to all the exciting things coming for Boss!
